How MMH presents totals, applies fees, handles tips, and processes refunds, reversals, and payment disputes.

1. MMH may accept major card-based payment methods and any additional payment methods made available in the relevant checkout flow.
2. Before final submission, MMH displays the order or booking total and applicable components, including subtotal, service fee, transaction fee, delivery fee, small-order fee, priority delivery fee, taxes, and an optional driver tip.
3. The service fee helps support platform operations and order coordination. The transaction fee helps cover secure payment processing, merchant settlement, fraud monitoring, and marketplace operations.
4. Delivery, small-order, and priority delivery fees may vary based on fulfillment method, basket size, distance, timing, service area, and selected options. Fees and taxes are shown before final payment submission.
5. Driver tips are optional for eligible delivery orders. Preset tips may be percentage-based on food subtotal only. Custom driver tips are fixed dollar amounts, not percentages. Tips go 100% to the driver.
6. MMH recomputes pricing server-side before creating the final payment request and stores pricing snapshots and fee breakdowns for accounting, support, reconciliation, disputes, and analytics.
7. Chef bookings may require a deposit. Customers must acknowledge the deposit policy before paying. Deposits are non-refundable once a chef booking is accepted and confirmed, except where required by law or where MMH expressly approves otherwise under the cancellation policy.
8. MMH may reverse, refund, or adjust charges to reflect approved substitutions, cancellations, service issues, pricing corrections, payment disputes, or legally required remedies.
9. MMH may use third-party payment processors, including Stripe and Stripe Connect, to facilitate checkout, fund flows, payout infrastructure, and dispute handling.
