1. Chefs remain independent providers responsible for the accuracy of their profile, packages, pricing, service areas, availability, notice windows, guest limits, licences, permits, food handling compliance, and performance of the booked experience.
2. Chef bookings are request-based in v1. Customers may submit requests, but chefs decide whether to accept, decline, or request changes through the platform. A booking is not confirmed until the chef accepts and any required payment condition is satisfied.
3. Chefs must keep profile content current, including photos, specialties, menus, service area, event types, notice periods, minimum spend, guest limits, dietary accommodation information, and package details.
4. Chefs may configure flat event pricing, per-person pricing, package pricing, travel fees, add-ons, minimum spend rules, and deposit requirements. MMH stores pricing snapshots, deposit policy snapshots, and cancellation policy snapshots for requests and confirmed bookings, and those stored records may govern the transaction.
5. Deposits may be required for some bookings. Deposits are non-refundable once a chef booking is accepted and confirmed, except where required by law or where MMH approves otherwise under the applicable cancellation policy. Customers must acknowledge the deposit policy before paying.
6. MMH may charge platform commissions, booking fees, or program fees under the chef's active pricing plan. Chef payouts may be adjusted for refunds, disputes, chargebacks, processor losses, credits, taxes, penalties, or other contractually permitted offsets.
7. Payout timing may depend on deposit status, remaining-balance status, processor timing, risk review, disputes, reserves, banking issues, or compliance review.
8. MMH may suspend, restrict, remove, or terminate chef access, listings, bookings, or payouts for profile inaccuracy, poor service, safety issues, fraud risk, non-compliance, unpaid amounts, repeated customer issues, or breach. Final cancellation, indemnity, and liability language should receive lawyer review before launch.
